35

A special day today.  I’m 35 weeks pregnant and have 35 days to go.  Wow!  This baby is coming soon.

Quick stats:
Weight gain: 28 pounds
Waist: 42 inches
Food Cravings: still none really, I’m not as hungry these days, I say it’s a combo of it’s hot outside and my stomach is squished
Swelling: it’s started, lucky for me, I’m probably the only one who can really tell, but I do only have one pair of sandals I can tolerate (thanks to Zappos, more on the way tomorrow
Clothes: I’ve outgrown almost all my maternity clothes.  A trip to Target and Old Navy (and the generosity of a friend) have me in dresses a skirt and a few more tops to get me through the next 35 days or so.
Pictures: Kind of hating all of them these days, but I will keep posting for the sake of journaling.
He’s still moving a ton, which we like

Rob and I were talking last night, and realized that really it could be even less.  Like sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.  I’m not so sure we’re ready for this.

And yes, statistically speaking it could be longer than 35 days – like two weeks.  But I’m actually hoping for a little sooner, since I start teaching again (one afternoon a week) on August 29, and would like as much home time as possible before then.

We have our next doctor appointment at the end of next week where we check baby’s size and position.  We are hoping for not huge and head down.

Congrats on your first baby. It's such a blessing. I always found the last 3 weeks to be the longest E-V-E-R! So keep your mind occupied.
