A very Tuba Christmas

Sunday was the day that I finally got to go to a TUBACHRISTMAS.  I first heard of this about five years ago when my cousin Tyrone was conducting one in the Philly area.  I looked it up and have been trying to go to the NYC concert at Rockefeller Plaza for a few years.  Something has always been going on, so this year I put it on the schedule.

We bundled up Simon and into the city we went. (Please note this is the day after IU’s awesome win, so of course he wore his IU hat and gloves. It’s a plus that they match the sweater.)
We saw the tree.
We heard some tubas.
 We sang along.
I love Christmas in New York.
